My maiden name is Coolbeth and I was told that this name is one of the names from the Galbraith clan. My mother's maiden name is Douglass. When I was growing up my last name was usual because there were no others around with the same last name. There are many more Coolbeth's in the Vermont area.

My grandmother was Annie (Joanne) Galbraith and her father was Archibald Galbraith and he married Margaret MacNeil and Ann Graham and she had Catherine b sept 1846 in Argyllshire, Scotland, John b 31 oct 1841 in Scotland and Duncan Donald and this is as back as I can get  . Need help

I was trying to find an Anne Galbraith who was born in the early 1800's in Ireland But moved to Canada and her son William Cathcart was born in 1830. Her husband Alexander Cathcart was from Londford Ireland . Anyone know any infomation? maybe an A Galbraith female?

My Father's adopted, but has only recently learned the last name of his birth parents: Galbraith. I know nothing more than that. I'm a college student and am unemployed, so I don't have the money to try and join now or pay for genealogical research. If anyone here knows someone with the name Galbraith who has put up a child for adoption (though it would have been in the 1960's right after my Father was born), please let me know.

trying to trace my family lineage, Came across the marriage of Thomas S. Baker to Anna Jane Galbraith in Hamilton, Canada. Trying to confirm Thomas's fathers name, Anna's father-in-law. My brothers Bryce and Ryan Galbraith. Sons of Dennis Galbraith, grandsons of Jack Galbraith of Scotland (moved to canada when he was 5 then to Texas several years later) Traced our records back to Arthur Pendragon. My older brother Bryce found it through marriage. Direct decendants of the Thomas/Robert Galbraith, 17th Chief of the Clan Galbraith.
